For me freedom of speech mostly is:
- When you can say what you think without being punished – you can have your own oppinion.
- When the media can post the true information without beeing censoured.
Freedom of speech is the opposit of censorship – on hidding and reducing the truth.
I think it was unethical and unpolite of these seven muslim men to shout what they did. If they would get any punishemnt for this, the people would call it censorship.
If seven muslim men can say that the all british soldiers are 'murderers', 'terrorists' and 'rapists'; does that mean that the seven british soldiers can say that all the muslims are 'murderers', 'terrorists' and 'rapists'?

ReplyDeleteWell, not intending to do something but still do it is not a good excuse. "I didn't intend to kill him, i just wanted to scare him a bit by shoting at him" Does that make it ok if it wasn't intent?
Also I think that "the Sun" and their articals are made more "extreme" to make bigger headlines and therefor sell more copies.
